RCB Beat Punjab Kings by 60 runs; Virat & Co Still Alive for IPL 2024 Playoffs!

In the 58th match of IPL 2024, Royal Challengers Bangalore defeated Punjab Kings by 60 runs. With this defeat, the Punjab team is out of IPL 2024. They have eight points after 12 matches and the maximum the team can reach is 12 points, which will not be enough to reach the playoffs. Punjab is the second team after Mumbai to be out of the playoff race. At the same time, RCB kept the playoff hopes alive with the win.

In reply, the Punjab team was reduced to 181 runs in 17 overs. Riley Rousseau scored the highest score of 61 runs. Rousseau played an inning of 61 runs in 27 balls with the help of nine fours and three sixes. Fans had high expectations from Shashank Singh, but he failed to score 37 runs in 19 balls with the help of four fours and two sixes.
