Batting first, Rajasthan scored 144 runs for nine wickets in 20 overs with the help of Riyan Parag’s innings of 48 runs with the help of six fours in 34 balls. For Punjab, captain Sam Curran, Harshal Patel and Rahul Chahar took two wickets each and prevented Rajasthan from scoring big. In reply, Punjab won by five wickets with seven balls remaining on the basis of captain Sam Curran’s unbeaten 63 runs off 41 balls with the help of five fours and three sixes. Ashutosh Sharma remained unbeaten for Punjab after scoring 17 runs on 11 balls.
