Nepal Accident: Bus filled with 40 people fell into the river, 20 Indians died, figure may increase!

 

 

A UP bus going to Nepal’s capital Kathmandu has fallen into the river. This accident happened in Tanahun, Nepal. According to the information, many people have died in this incident. As soon as information about the accident was received, Uttar Pradesh Relief Commissioner said that regarding this incident, we are establishing contact to find out if anyone from the state is involved. The Relief Commissioner said that we are establishing contact to find out if any person from UP is involved in this. SDM Maharajganj is being sent to Nepal.

Nepal Police has confirmed that an Indian passenger bus carrying 40 people has fallen into the Marsyangdi river in Tanahun district. DSP Deepkumar Raya of District Police Office Tanahun confirmed that, “The bus with number plate UP 53 FT 7623 fell into the river and is lying on the river bank.” According to the official, the bus was going from Pokhara to Kathmandu. The bus is said to be of Kesarwani Travels of Gorakhpur.

15 people unable to speak, 14 dead

According to the information, 29 people have been rescued after a passenger bus fell into Marsyangdi river while coming from Pokhara to Kathmandu. 14 people have died.According to Gandaki Province Police Office Pokhara, 15 people are able to speak.Police initially estimated that there were 40 passengers on the bus. Senior Superintendent of Police Ravindra Regmi, spokesperson of the provincial police office, said the search operation is underway for the remaining passengers. The rescued people are being sent to the hospital for treatment. The identities of the people rescued in the accident and other passengers on board the plane have not been revealed yet.

UP government’s Transport Minister Dayashankar Singh also reacted to this incident. Expressing grief over the incident, Singh wrote – Received the sad news of the accident of a private bus of Gorakhpur while going from Pokhara, Nepal to Kathmandu. I pray to God for the peace of the souls of those killed in the accident and speedy recovery of the injured. Instructions have been given to the concerned authorities to provide all possible help to the victims.
