Delhi Liquor case: Kejriwal promised 90 lakh to every Goa poll candidate!

Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal’s troubles in the Delhi liquor scam case are not decreasing. CBI has made such a claim before the court, which has created a stir. CBI says that Arvind Kejriwal had promised to give Rs 90 lakh each to every candidate in the Goa Assembly elections. CBI claimed that it has evidence of this. Actually, Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal is currently lodged in Tihar Jail. He has got bail in the ED case related to excise policy, but he is still waiting for relief in the CBI case.

In fact, the CBI i.e. Central Bureau of Investigation claimed before the Delhi court on Tuesday that the money earned from the excise ‘scam’ was spent as per the wishes of Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal. He had promised to give Rs 90 lakh each to each candidate of his party in the 2022 Goa Assembly elections. The CBI made this argument before Special Judge Kaveri Baweja, who extended the judicial custody of Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal till September 3 in the corruption case related to the excise policy ‘scam’.
