The country’s Prime Minister Narendra Modi is celebrating his 73rd birthday on Tuesday (September 17). Many special arrangements have been made for PM Modi’s birthday. Free auto rides are being provided on PM Modi’s birthday. Also, huge discounts are being given on shopping and hotel bills. All these facilities are being provided to Surat city of Gujarat people on PM Modi’s birthday. There is a plan to celebrate PM Modi’s birthday in a grand way here on Tuesday.
Discount from 10 to 100 percent
BJP leader Purnesh Modi said that many local businessmen in his assembly constituency will give discounts ranging from 10 percent to 100 percent to celebrate PM Modi’s birthday. Businesses from various sectors including hotels, restaurants, clinics, jewelry, vegetable markets, and bakery will be included in customer discounts.
This is a voluntary decision of shopkeepers
Purnesh Modi said, ‘Every year in my assembly constituency, we work for the welfare of the people on PM Modi’s birthday. There are about 2,500 businessmen associated with different businesses in the area, who give huge discounts on their goods and shopping to the people here. Every shop has its plan. What discount to give, how much discount to give? This is their decision. All this is voluntary.’
Free rides in autos started on Monday itself
Regarding PM Modi’s birthday, the auto union in Surat said that they are joining this celebration. Union President Raju Bhandari said, ‘We will celebrate it as Seva Diwas, where individual auto drivers are giving free rides. Why not do it unitedly? So we will carry passengers for free. This will start from Monday 16 September, which is a day before Narendra Modi’s birthday.’
Customers made shopping plans
Shoppers in Surat are very excited about this special discount being offered in the festive season. A customer said that festivals are going on. That’s why we are shopping. I came to know that PM Modi’s birthday is on 17 September and we are getting good discounts here. So we have planned to buy some goods.
PM Modi will launch this scheme tomorrow
Let us tell you that Prime Minister Narendra Modi will visit Odisha to launch ‘Subhadra Yojana’ on his birthday. BJP MP Sambit Patra had said that during the election campaign, PM Modi had given the ‘Modi Ki Guarantee’ in Odisha, in which he promised that if the BJP government is formed, every woman will get Rs 50,000 in five years. This process will start on September 17. In this, about 1 crore 30 lakh women will receive the first installment of Rs 5,000 through Subhadra Yojana. PM Modi will release this first installment.
