Who was Yahya Sinwar?

  1. Yahya Sinwar is the head of the terrorist organization Hamas. Sinwar became the chief of Hamas when Israel killed Hamas leader Ismail Haniya in a bomb blast in Iran.
  2. Yahya Sinwar was born in 1962 in a refugee camp in Gaza. He was associated with Hamas since its early days. Headed the security wing, which focused on eliminating Israeli informants.
