IPL 2025 Mega Auction: The IPL Governing Council has officially announced the dates for the mega auction to be held before the 18th season of the Indian Premier League (IPL) to be played in the year 2025, this time auction of players will be held on the 24 and 25 November in Jeddah city of Saudi Arabia. On October 31, all 10 IPL franchises announced the names of their retained players, after which many big names will be a part of the auction this time. In this, a total of 204 players are vacant including all the teams.
A total of 46 players have been retained, the rest will be part of the auction.

This time all 10 franchises together have retained a total of 46 players, whose names were announced on 31 October. The IPL mega auction is being organized on the 2 days during which the Indian team will be playing a Test match in Perth on its tour of Australia, when the third and fourth days of the match are being played, this auction will be held at that time. Earlier in the year 2024, the IPL mini-auction was organized in Dubai.
A team will be formed for the next three years.
