Mithali Raj has signed a 3-year contract with Andhra Cricket Association. Her primary responsibility will be to Scout and Nurture. Let us tell you that Mithali Raj had retired from international cricket in 2022. However, she has been seen playing many important roles in women’s cricket.
ACA Secretary S. Satish Babu said, “Mithali has signed a three-year contract with us, with the specific objective of discovering and nurturing young talent across the state. We are really pleased that she has taken on this responsibility, which is part of our efforts to give a new direction to women’s cricket..”
The ACA Secretary further said, “We are setting up a full-fledged High Performance Academy in Anantapur for women cricketers, where initially we will select 80 girls from different age groups and will give them 365 days of training including academics.”
