Rohit had sent Ishan Kishan to open with Gill in his place, after which Gill and Ishan achieved this target in just 6.1 overs. Shubman Gill scored 27 runs in 19 balls with the help of 6 fours and Ishaan scored 23 runs in 18 balls and helped the team win by 10 wickets.

Mohammad Siraj has taken the most wickets in the Asia Cup 2023 final. He took 4 wickets in one over and after that he took 6 wickets for 21 runs in a total of 7 overs. Apart from this, Hardik Pandya took 3 wickets. Bumrah took only 1 wicket. Whereas the Sri Lankan bowlers yearned to dismiss the Indian batsmen.
Sri Lanka scored 50 runs
In the final match between India vs Sri Lanka, Sri Lanka won the toss and decided to bat first. But his decision has proved to be completely wrong. Actually, the team could play only 15.2 overs and ended up scoring a total of 50 runs. For the team, Kusal Mendis (17), Dushan Hemantha (13), Dunith Village (8), Dhananjay de Silva (4) Pathum Nishanka (2), Kusal Perera, Sadira Samarawickrama, Asalanka, Dasun Shanaka, Mathish Pathirana scored without opening the account.
