Rain can disrupt the much-awaited ICC World Cup match between India and Pakistan on October 14 as the Indian Meteorological Department has predicted light rain in the city and North Gujarat during this period. This World Cup match will be held on Saturday at Narendra Modi Stadium in Motera while the nine-day Navratri festival will start on October 15.
According to the latest weather information shared by the Indian Meteorological Department, there may be scattered rain in the districts of North Gujarat and Ahmedabad on October 14 and 15.
Manorama Mohanty, director of the Meteorological Center of Ahmedabad, said, “The weather is expected to remain dry in Gujarat in the next five days but there may be sporadic rain in Ahmedabad district on October 14.” She said, “The sky will remain cloudy.” The next day there may be rain in Ahmedabad and other northern districts including Banaskantha, Sabarkantha, and Aravali.
The Indian team reached the city today and the players practiced at the Narendra Modi Stadium. The special thing is that Shubman Gill was the only Indian player who trained today. Gill, who could not play the matches against Australia and Afghanistan due to dengue, practiced on the field for an hour.
