Four People Killed in Explosion at Soap Factory Warehouse in Meerut !!

Four killed got killed in an explosion in UP. A magisterial probe has been ordered into the incident that took place in a residential area. the house was destroyed in the incident. The explosion site is situated near Satyapal International School, within the jurisdiction of the Lohianagar police station.

on Tuesday while the workers were working,  a building housing a soap-making unit collapsed following an explosion. As per the latest report, 4 people were killed and 5 people were seriously injured.

Some machines used in manufacturing soap were found at the spot in Lohia Nagar locality, which indicates that either soap was manufactured in the house or its packaging was being done there, District Magistrate Deepak Meena told reporters, “All the injured persons were taken to a medical college, where four persons succumbed to injuries,” he also said “The ongoing search operation aims to meticulously examine the area to verify that no one remains trapped beneath the debris. While it is established that soap wrapping and packaging activities were conducted within the premises, the precise cause of the explosion remains unknown at this juncture.”

A report has been sought within 48 hours, as per the DM said. He also added that it will also be probed how a manufacturing unit was operating from a residential area of the city. Senior Superintendent of Police, Rohit Singh Sajwan said that the chemicals which were used in the manufacturing of soap have been recovered from the spot. Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath expressed grief over the loss of lives in the accident.

In a post on X(formally known as Twitter), in Hindi, the CM’s office said, “The chief minister has instructed the concerned district administration officials to reach the spot and speed up the relief work and to immediately take the injured to hospital and provide them proper treatment.”
