The Delhi accident took two innocent lives, again. A 32-year-old man and his eight-year-old son died because their two-wheeler was hit by an unidentified vehicle. This incident in west Delhi, an official said on Tuesday. A man, his wife, and their two children were on the scooter at the time of the accident. The scooter was hit from behind by the car. Husband, wife, and their two children were traveling on the scooter.

The incident of the accident was reported at Rajouri Garden police station around 1 a.m. After which a police team rushed to the spot. After reaching they found a scooty that had been struck by a car from the rear. Western District Police Deputy Commissioner Vichitra Veer said that Rajouri Garden police station received information about the road accident at 1 a.m. on Monday. Everyone got injured due to the collision. The man and the older son died at the spot and the younger child and the wife are under treatment.
The person who died in the Delhi accident has been identified as Dinesh Vasan. His eight-year-old son was named Daksh and his eight-month-old baby is Prayaan. Dinesh’s wife Preeti and the baby are undergoing treatment. Rajouri Garden police station is registering an FIR and trying to trace the accused car driver.
“The injured were promptly transported to the nearest hospital where Dinesh Vasan (32) and his son Daksh were declared dead. Dinesh’s wife, Preeti (32), and their other child, Prayan (8), are currently undergoing treatment,” said the Deputy Commissioner of Police (west) Vichitra Veer.
He also added “An FIR has been registered under the applicable provisions of the Indian Penal Code (IPC). Multiple teams have been deployed to review surveillance cameras and identify the vehicle responsible for the incident,” the DCP added.
