Mithun Chakraborty has been admitted to a hospital in Kolkata due to a brain stroke! Mithun Da was complaining of severe chest pain for some days and he felt acute uneasiness while shooting for a TV show in his hometown Kolkata on Saturday morning. Then the Studio staff immediately rushed him to the hospital at around 10:30 am today.

“The reports of the MRI are awaited. He is currently in the ITU under the supervision of a neuro medicine specialist. We will be able to provide further details later,” an official from the Apollo Hospital has said. He also has informed the media that Mithun Chakraborty is currently undergoing medical evaluation.

Now, the latest update on the actor’s health has been shared by the Appollo Hospital where he is admitted. According to a report, Mithun Chakraborty has been diagnosed with an Ischemic Cerebrovascular Stroke of the brain. “The reports of the MRI are awaited. He is currently under the supervision of a neuro medicine specialist,” a doctor at the hospital. Although His elder son Mimoh Chakraborty has informed, “He is 100 percent fine and it’s a routine checkup.”
Mithun Chakraborty was last seen as the judge of Dance Bangla Dance, when he received the prestigious Padma Bhushan in January 2024. Mithun da has a remarkable career spanning over 350 films in multiple Indian languages. After winning the award, he said “After a lot of struggle and hard work, I have finally received such an honor… It is a feeling I can’t express. I am dedicating this to all my fans in India and abroad, who have given me unconditional love.”
