Ukraine’s “historic step”: Zelensky signed security pact with Germany!

Ukraine’s President Volodymyr Zelensky has signed a security deal with Germany on Friday. This happened in Berlin. Zelenskyy has signed a new long-term security pact with France too, right after that. Both deals are too similar. This security agreement was done to help  Kyiv in its war against Russia!

$3.23bn military aid from France and $1.22bn support package from Germany?

Zelensky Arrived in Berlin on Friday morning. Mr. Zelensky went to Berlin to sign a security agreement with Chancellor Olaf Scholz of Germany. According to him, this decision was taken to “strive for a just and lasting peace in Ukraine.” After that this Ukrainian leader went to Paris on the same day to sign a similar deal with President Emmanuel Macron of France. As Ukraine is fighting against Russia, Ukraine desperately in need of more arms and strength. All of these deals are actually supports from the Europeans.

Mr. Scholz has said on Friday that Germany would send a help, which is an additional military aid package of $1.2 billion. Mr. Macron has said said that France’s military assistance to Ukraine in 2024 would total sum up to $3.2 billion. “We are determined to stand by your side and defeat Russia’s war of aggression,” Mr. Macron supported Ukraine during a news conference after signing the deal. Mr. Zelensky also said after signing the deal that he is “counting on the fact that the United States will not fall away.”

He also said, “Regardless of any problems that may arise now in the House of Representatives or in Congress overall, or in politics because of the election process. I nonetheless believe that we will ultimately see that familiar American pragmatic approach on this, because we are defending the security of the world.”
