IPL 2024: Gujarat Titans Hit Hard as Mohammed Shami Ruled Out

There is still one month left for IPL 2024 to start. In this peak 2023, runner-up Gujarat Titans have been dealt a big blow. Citing a BCCI source, news agency PTI said that Shami has been left out of the entire IPL ruckus due to injury. The surgery will take place only in Britain.

Shami has not played since last year’s ODI World Cup. Due to injury, he was not selected for the South Africa tour. After that, you would have been out of the current Test series against England.

He has taken 229 Test, 195 ODI, and 24 T20 wickets in his decade-long career. He has taken 127 wickets in the IPL also. If Shami does not play for Gujarat Titans, then it can be a big blow for Gujarat Titans.
