Cricket Canada has announced its 15-member squad for the upcoming T20 World Cup. Canada will participate in the T20 World Cup for the first time. Canada’s captaincy has been handed over to all-rounder Saad Bin Zafar.

The Canadian team has a mix of talented cricketers who have performed well in the season. Canada hopes that its team will be successful in giving tough competition to its opponents at the global level. Apart from captain Saad, Canada has players like batsman Aaron Johnson and fast bowler Khalim Sana, who are expected to play important roles.
It must be said that Canada has formed an experienced team. Four cricketers are under 30. Star batsmen like Aaron Johnson, Ravinderpaul Singh, and Navneet Dhaliwal are staying in the World Cup team. Dhaliwal is Canada’s highest run scorer in T20I with 870 runs. Stars like Kalim Sana, and Junaid Siddiqui are in this year’s World Cup team. Despite depth in the Canada squad, Nikhil Dutta and Srimanth Vijayaratne were not included. Tajinder Singh has been kept as a reserve player.

Canada has got a place in Group B for the T20 World Cup 2024. The Canadian team will begin its campaign in the upcoming T20 World Cup on June 1 against the United States in Dallas.
