A major accident has occurred in Kannauj, Uttar Pradesh. Here the linter of an under construction building fell near the railway station. Many laborers are feared buried in the incident. Relief and rescue work is still going on. According to the information received, more than 40 laborers were engaged in work here. After the incident, these people got buried under the debris, some of whom have been rescued. Top officials of police and administration are present at the spot.
Taking cognizance of the incident, CM Yogi Adityanath has directed the officials for rescue and all possible help. An eyewitness on the spot told the media that he had gone to eat food at the time of the accident. According to him, 40 to 50 laborers were engaged in the work. So far 11 people have been evacuated safely.

Minister of State for Social Welfare and Kannauj MLA Asim Arun said on the railway station accident that till now 23 laborers have been evacuated. Of these, 20 have minor injuries. 3 injured have been sent to Lucknow for better treatment.
This accident happened during the ongoing beautification work in Kannauj railway station premises. Here the linter of an under construction building suddenly collapsed. After receiving information about the incident, police and relief team reached the spot and started rescue operations. The injured are continuously being sent to the hospital by ambulance.
According to the local people, there was a very loud noise due to the falling of the lantern. The incident caused chaos. Considering the seriousness of the incident, police and relief workers are engaged in rescue operations. The administration has also started investigation into the cause of the accident.
