A terrible accident has occurred in Jaipur, the capital of Rajasthan. There has been a collision between a tanker and a truck. After this the LPG tanker exploded. Within no time the fire reached an area of about one kilometer. About 40 vehicles were caught in the fire. The entire area echoed with the sounds of fire, flames and explosions. So far 8 people have died in this accident.
This accident happened very close to DPS School on Ajmer Highway. As soon as the CNG tanker exploded, dozens of vehicles passing nearby caught fire. A passenger bus also caught fire. 20 vehicles of fire department are present on the spot. More than 30 people have been badly burnt.
Rescue operation is still going on at the accident site in Jaipur. The fire brigade team is still busy extinguishing the fire. A short time ago, the dead body, which had turned into ashes, was taken out from the container. Smoke is still coming out from the vehicles burnt on fire on the highway.
20 teams of fire brigade are engaged in rescue. CM Bhajanlal Sharma reached the spot and took stock of the incident. After meeting the top officials, the CM also inquired about the well-being of the seriously burnt people.
Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma, who reached the spot, said, ‘It is a very painful incident. I have come to the hospital. I have given instructions to make proper arrangements there. We will conduct a detailed investigation into the incident. Will arrange for treatment of the injured.’
