Just a few days before the release of OMG 2, the makers shared the trailer. The video begins with the melodious voice of Lord Shiva, who tells Nandi that one of his devotees is about to face some kind of calamity and asks him to send a messenger (who happens to be Akshay Kumar) to help him. We are then introduced to Pankaj Tripathi’s character Kanti Sharan Mudgal, who decides to sue a school after his son is involved in a scam and expelled. Kanti’s life changes forever after her son Vivek commits suicide. He asks God for help to prevent his son from turning to darkness. Akshay Kumar helps him by the way.
The trailer also shows courtroom scenes where Yami Gautam accuses Pankaj Tripathi of defending his son’s “obscene” act (his words).” He even tells him at one point, “You should have sued the education system, not the school.” Pankaj Tripathi tries to save her son, with a little help from Akshay Kumar. The trailer ends with a conversation between Akshay Kumar and a food vendor, whom he refuses to pay, as he is not of this world, and blesses him.
