Karan Johar Asks Kareena About Deepika as Competition; She Passes it to Alia Bhatt’s Question

The much-awaited promo of Koffee with Karan Season 8 which features Alia Bhatt and Kareena Kapoor Khan as guests, has been released recently. The two actresses discuss their familial ties and past controversies. The promo can be viewed anytime on Disney Plus Hotstar for free. By looking at the promo, it can be said that the show can surely bag crores of TRPs.

Alia calls the show ‘controversial’!

This is the first time Alia and Kareena will make an appearance together on the talk show. In the glimpse of the episode, Alia is seen calling the show ‘controversial with a K’. The teaser, shared by host Karan Johar, begins with him describing Alia Bhatt as someone “who feels like his firstborn” and Kareena Kapoor as his “spirit soul”.As Alia is back on the couch, Kareena Kapoor is also seen rolling her eyes and adding, ‘And we are back. Karan funnily asks Kareena whether she and Alia address each other as Bhabhi or Nand. Kareena quickly replies, ‘I am nobody’s bhabhi’ which conveys funnily that she is not a grown-up old woman. Though Alia Bhatt laughed away.

In Kareena’s rapid-fire round, Karan asked her, “Do you consider Deepika Padukone as your competition?” The K3G actor immediately said, “I think this is Alia’s question for her rapid-fire, not for me.”

Kareena was also asked about not attending the Gadar 2 success party. Karan put her in a tough spot and asked about her ‘history’ with Ameesha Patel. Karan then reminded her that she was supposed to do ‘Kaho Naa Pyaar Hai’ and Kareena responded by saying, ‘I am ignoring this.’
