Arjun Rampal Married Mehr Jesia at 24, Divorced in 2019 After Announcing Separation

Arjun Rampal, who has turned 51, is often in the news for his personal life. Arjun, who became a father without marriage, was married to Mehr Jesia. Both of them had a love marriage in 1998. After 21 years, Arjun and Meher parted ways in 2019. Despite being married and the father of two daughters, he started dating model Gabriella Demetriades. Now years after his separation from Mehr Jessia, Arjun said that he was very young when they got married. Along with this, he admitted that he felt a deep emptiness after the divorce.

During a conversation on ‘The Ranveer Show’ podcast, Arjun Rampal shared his pain of emptiness and loneliness. Now Arjun believes that even though divorce happens between two people, the entire family goes through it. He said, ‘Divorce is not easy for anyone and it hurts your children the most. In the beginning, you feel like you are free now, but in the end, you feel uncomfortable and lonely. You start missing your home. Especially home-cooked food.’

Arjun blamed himself for the divorce.

Arjun further considers himself responsible for the breakdown of his marriage. He says that it is human nature to blame someone else and make excuses. But the meltdown was caused by something else. It happened because it wasn’t working. After all, you are unhappy and unhappy. And if you can’t look inward and try to find more happiness, that’s when it’s going to crack and break.

Arjun said he was too young to get married.

In the conversation, Arjun stressed the importance of taking responsibility for one’s shortcomings in a relationship. He said, ‘It is important to close all your doors and windows, remain isolated and reflect within yourself. That’s what I did. You realize that you have many shortcomings. Yes! There were shortcomings from the other side also. After all, it is you who has to heal. You need to recover and come back as a stronger person because you have a responsibility to a lot of other people who are a part of this.’

He said, ‘I got married when I was 24 years old. I think it’s too early. You are so young at that time. You have a lot to learn and experience. First, you have to become mature. Men mature later than women. We are indeed fools. If you want to be successful in marriage, you will have to wait. Arjun also said that he has seen men among him marrying their childhood girlfriends and they are living a happy married life today.
