Cancer is such a dangerous disease in which sudden abnormal cells division starts without control and this can invade nearby tissues also. Cancer destroys healthy cells in organs, then blocks their nutrient or oxygen supply, and because of this waste products builds up in the cells. If cancer becomes severe enough it can prevent vital organ function, which leads to death. Treatment of this decease is difficult because cancer is not a single disease, it’s rather a group of diseases.

Today we will tell you about 5 Bollywood celebrities who fought with this desease and won!

But why this desease doesn’t have any cure?

There’s is uncountable types of cancer. Every cancer is caused by a different set of mutations. When the tumour grows because of the abnormal cell devision, more and more mutations accumulate from that. Which means that every tumour has an completely individual set of mutations, so it is impossible that a drug which worked for one cancer patient, will have effect on another patient.

This is another reason why fighting cancer is the toughest. Cancer has physical, mental, emotional, social, and financial consequences which starts with the diagnosis and continue through treatment and goes even after beyond. Dealing with cancer is a life-changing event for most of the people.
