Censor Board Rejects John's 'Veda', Makers File Appeal

John Abraham is going to be seen doing action on screen once again. John is in the lead role in this film and Sharvari Wagh is going to be seen with him. This film will be released at the box office on the occasion of Independence Day i.e. on 15 August, however, before the release, ‘Vedaa’ seems to be in trouble. ‘Vedaa’ has not yet received clearance from the censor board. The makers have expressed concern over this.

The makers of the film ‘Vedaa’ have targeted the censor board by issuing a statement. In this statement, the makers wrote, ‘We, the producers of Vedaa are forced to share with you that despite our best efforts, we have not yet received clearance from the Central Board of Film Certification. Following all the rules, we applied for the certificate 8 weeks before the release. Our film was screened at the CBFC on June 25 and further wrote that we are still waiting for the committee’s review without any explanation. We want our request to reach everyone who can help us in this difficult time.’

According to the reports, this film is scheduled to release on August 15. Apart from John and Sharvari, Tamannaah Bhatia and Abhishek Banerjee will also be seen in this film. Akshay Kumar’s film ‘Khel Khel Mein’ will be released on August 15 and Shraddha’s Stree 2 is also going to release on the same day. These two films will clash with John’s film Veda, so nothing can be said right now as to which film will win. Now it has to be seen how John casts magic on people through this film.
