There is news of a ruckus in Delhi’s Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU) over Vikrant Messy starrer film ‘The Sabarmati Report’. It is being told that stone pelting took place during the screening of the film in which some students got injured.
According to the information, the screening of ‘The Sabarmati Report’ was organized by ABVP (Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad) in JNU. During this, it is alleged that the left students created a ruckus. They tore posters and pelted stones in protest against the film.

In the video that has surfaced, it can be seen that the students are watching ‘The Sabarmati Report’ on campus. Stones are seen lying around during the screening of the film. ABVP alleges that the left students always obstruct ABVP’s program and have done so today also. There has been stone pelting in protest against the screening.
Students suffered minor injuries – ABVP wing president
JNU’s ABVP wing president Rajeshwar Kant Dubey said, ‘Some students have suffered minor injuries. The screening was stopped for a while, but it was resumed after some time.’
Dubey further said that on Thursday evening hundreds of students were watching the film when some people started pelting stones at them. At present, there has been no response from the university administration or the student union on this matter.

Earlier (November 17), PM Modi also supported ‘The Sabarmati Report’. PM Modi has praised Vikrant Massey’s film and said that now the truth is coming out in front of everyone. He wrote in his post, “It is a good thing that this truth is coming out and that too in a way that common people can see it. A false story can last only for a limited time. After all, the facts always come out. “
