Fukrey 3 released and reviewed: Hit or a flop?- Check Out Here

“Fukrey” is one of the most successful comedy franchises in Bollywood. The last two parts ( “Fukrey” and “Fukrey Returns”) were a huge success.

Fukrey 3 was written by Vipul Vig and directed by Mrighdeep Singh Lamba. The release date was September 7, but the slot was booked by SRK’s “JAWAN”, so the movie was released in the theatres on September 28. Fukrey 3 features an army of extraordinary cast who are known for their comic timing and acting skills. The film stars Pulkit Samrat, Varun Sharma, Manjit Singh, Richa Chadha, Pankaj Tripathi, and others. Pulkit, Manjit, and Pankaj’s characters are on Choocha’s team and they get him ready for the elections.  But the thing is they have no idea what’s going to happen to them as they discover a new ‘superpower’ within Choocha. It appears like the brand of comedy of the Fukrey gang is still intact in the third installment of the franchise. In the teaser, In one scene, we see both Bholi Punjaban ( Richa Chanda) and Chucha ( Varun Sharma) fighting an election and there’s another scene where Chucha is trying to convince Bholi Punjaban that she’s pregnant with his child.

And now, as the film is released, it is seen that the comedy film received a good response on opening day. It recorded an opening collection of ₹8.5 crore as per early estimates. The report said Fukrey 3 had a collection of 22.12 percent on Thursday. It received the best response as it was released in theatres with Kangana Ranaut’s Chandramukhi 2 and Vivek Agnihotri’s The Vaccine War. Thursday was a partial holiday in India for Eid-e-Milad an-Nabi and Ganpati Visarjan.

A film critic reviewed and said, “Fukrey 3 genuine review by Vaibhav @lifeovai.Been a fan of this series, had high anticipation but looks like something is wrong with the air in Bollywood. doesn’t stand up to expectations. Choocha is as usual great, but could have been better Bholi is not as ravishing and dangerous as was in Fukrey 2. Overall a good comedy which could have been great if the script was thoughtfully written.”

Another review said Fukrey 3 is not at all like the comic dialogues, it is being forced. And there is no parent in the storyline. The screenplay is not even like Fukrey 1, it feels like you have wasted your money watching this film. In today’s time, it is good to watch small films, the ticket price is also low and the content is good.
