Koffee with Karan 8 : Janhvi Kapoor and Khushi Kapoor drop hints on boyfriends and dating!!

Two daughters of Sridevi and Boni Kapoor, Janhvi and Khushi both have become actresses now. Janhvi Kapoor has debuted in films with Dhadak in 2018. Her younger sister Khushi Kapoor has just started her career with the Netflix film The Archies this December. Both sisters were the guests in Koffee With Karan Season 8 Episode 11. Khushi and Janhvi opened up about their mother’s death!

The Kapoor sisters opened up about the difficult time they had to face after their mother Sridevi’s death. They confessed how they are each other’s go-to person for everything. They are each other’s first person to get help from, from approving each other’s boyfriends to raiding closets. Janhvi who is  26, and Khushi who is 23, have offered a sneak peek into their sisterhood. The highlights of Episode 11 of Karan Johar’s celebrity chat show are now streaming on Disney+Hotstar.

According to Khushi, she is the one who is “emotionally equipped”, and took on the elder sister’s role after their mother’s unfortunate death. But Janhvi believes that they both play each other’s “mom and baby” depending on what the situation is.

They opened up about the moment they got the news of their mother’s death. Janhvi explained how devastated Khusi was when she ran into her room and gave her the news. “But the moment she looked at me, she stopped crying and started comforting me. I have never seen her crying since,” said Janhvi.

Janhvi and Khushi said that they got closer to Arjun and Anshula Kapoor after Sridevi’s death. Arjun and Anshula are their father’s children from his previous marriage. “It’s nice to have more people to ask stupid, silly questions all the time. They helped us to hold it together,” said Khushi’s step-siblings.

What did the sisters say about Dating and relationships?

Khusi is rumored to be dating Archies co-star Vedang Raina. But when asked, she smiled and said that they’re just good friends. But Janhvi opened up about her childhood sweetheart and current boyfriend Shikhar Pahariya. She got back with him after a brief relationship with a film star. “Shikhar would always sing Nadaan parindey ghar aaja,” she said. In the rapid-fire round, Janhvi also mentioned that she got a piece of diamond jewelry as a gift in a romantic relationship. Netizens are wondering if that was an indirect reveal about engagement with Shikhar!
