Kangana Ranaut, made history, after being the 1st woman to shoot the Ravana!

Every year on Vijaya Dashami (Dussarah) Ravana effigy was burned. The common reason being said is that everybody has a Ravana in himself, so to end that evil, the Ravana every year is burnt. In the 50-year history of the event, held annually at the Red Fort, this was the first time a woman set the effigy of the demon king ablaze by shooting an arrow. Kangana made her way to the stage with her sister Rangoli Chandel by her side. For the occasion, Kangana went for a traditional red Banarasi saree and tied her hair up into a neat bun. She added flowers, a bindi, and heavy traditional jewelry to complete the look. She was joined by Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal and Lieutenant Governor VK Saxena.

The action queen of Bollywood failed to shoot Ravana, not only once but thrice!

But a video that is doing the rounds on social media, showed Kangana with a bow in her hand and failing to shoot it toward Ravan’s effigy. People around her were seen assisting with how to shoot the arrow, but her three attempts failed. But she didn’t let her spirits dampen, she finally shot the arrow with the help of Lav Kush Ramlila Committee members. She yelled ‘Jai Shri Ram’ while one of the Lav Kush Ramleela Committee members assisted her in shooting the arrow.

A part of social media trolled her for her failed attempt. “This gives me second-hand embarrassment,” a social media user wrote. “So much for being the stunt/action queen of Bollywood,” added another user. “I can’t imagine the kind of anxiety, embarrassment Kanagana must be feeling at that time,” a fourth user wrote.
