Kavita Kaushik Angered by Influencer Sara Sarosh’s Video on Kolkata Rape-Murder Case, Says ‘This is the Difference…’

There is anger across the country regarding the Kolkata rape and murder case. From social media to the streets, everyone is talking about this. Social media influencer Sara Sarosh also made a video talking about the Kolkata rape and murder case. However, after this video was posted, Kavita Kaushik, who was a part of Bigg Boss 14, got angry at the social media influencer. Sara Sarosh later deleted this video as well.

Anger erupted on Sara’s video

The video posted by Sara Sarosh was a Get Ready With Me (GRWM) video. The video shows Sara getting ready, while a voiceover about the Kolkata rape and murder case is playing in the background. As soon as Sara posted this video, people on social media are calling this video insensitive.

What did Kavita Kaushik say?

As soon as Sara posted the video, the anger of social media users erupted against her. Expressing her displeasure over the video, Kavita Kaushik wrote on her ‘X’ handle- A big difference between an artist and an influencer is how they approach and react to sensitive topics. Artists work from the heart, while influencers…only numbers matter to them. After being trolled on social media, Sara deleted the video and apologized.

She posted on her Instagram- “Yesterday I posted a GRWM video on Instagram which was shot two months ago with a rape and murder current affairs audio. While editing, I did not consider how the video would look if the video and audio were out of sync. She further said that I deleted the video five minutes after posting it because I realized from the comments that there was a mistake on my part.”
