In an interview given to the YouTube channel Conversation with Atul, Mridula said that she first saw Pankaj Tripathi during the engagement of siblings. Let us tell you that Pankaj Tripathi’s sister and Mridula’s brother are married to each other. At that time Mridula was in 9th class and Pankaj was in 11th class. Mridula said- ‘Love started between us. But at that time this thing was considered bad. My mother got suspicious, so she asked me to call Pankaj ‘bhaiya’. But I could not call him like that, so I started calling Pankaj ‘ji’ and then just ‘ji’. Mridula said that when her father came to know, he agreed, but her mother and Bhabhi (Pankaj’s sister) were not happy. But gradually, they started accepting him.

Mother-in-law has not accepted to date

Mridula further said that finally, the family agreed to the marriage of both. But her mother-in-law has not accepted her to date. Mridula said- ‘My mother-in-law was not happy with what happened, she has not accepted me to date. She is still upset with this relationship. But what can we do about it now?’ Let us tell you, Mridula also revealed that till the time her family members were not aware of her and Pankaj’s relationship, Pankaj used to go to find a match for her.
