Parineeti Chopra and Raghav Chadha got engaged in the presence of family members and friends in May in Delhi’s Kapurthala House. The couple landed at the Udaipur airport on Friday morning, and there they received a warm welcome. The soon-to-be-married couple dod their pre-wedding festivities with an areas ceremony in Delhi, which was followed by a Sufi night with only close friends and family members in attendance.
According to the reporters, guests enjoyed the Sufi night with songs such as Chhaap Tilak Sab, Bulleya, Ishq Sufiana, Tu Mane Ya Na Mane, Afreen Afreen, and Sanu Ek Pal Chain being performed. The couple wore pink outfits for their Ardas ceremony in Delhi earlier this week. Guests shared pictures with the couple on social media.
it seems like the Chopras and Chadhas are doing their best to make it a grand affair. It is reported that the couple has booked luxury properties like The Leela Palace and The Taj Lake Palace in Udaipur for their stay. Apart from other rooms, the famous Maharaja Suite of The Leela Palace Hotel has also been booked which reportedly costs around Rs 10 lakh per day. The gigantic suite is spread over more than 3,500 square feet and has a mesmerizing view of the lake.
Before their engagement, both Raghav and Parineeti didn’t let people know about their relationship. Parineeti and Raghav knew each other for several years way before they began dating. The couple was recently spotted scouting for locations for weddings in Udaipur, hinting that they will follow in her cousin Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas’ footsteps and tie the knot in a lavish wedding in Rajasthan.
The wedding is expected to have tight security with 100 private security guards. There will also be security guards deployed on four to five boats on Lake Pichola. It is also reported that blue stickers have been placed on guests’ camera phones.
