The main cause of cervical cancer is the Human Papilloma Virus (HPV). Due to infection with this virus, the risk of developing cervical cancer is highest. It is believed that it spreads through unprotected sex. In this disease, the cells of the cervix are affected. Due to this, the inner tissue of the cervix gets affected and then it spreads to other parts of the body as well.
What are its symptoms?
It may be difficult to recognize the symptoms of cervical cancer in the beginning. However, as the disease progresses with time, it can be identified by some changes in the body-

– Frequent urination and loss of control over urine passage.
