“Sukhee” moment: Rekha And Shilpa Shetty Stole The Limelight

A family drama film naned Sukhee is going to release in theatres on Friday. Sukee is written by Radhika Anand, Paulomi Datta, Rupinder Inderjit directed by Sonal Joshi and starring Shilpa Shetty, Amit Sadh, Kusha Kapila and Pavleen Gujral in lead characters. Sukhee is a coming-of-age tale about a low-key glamorous homemaker who gets fed up by family members and decides to stop being taken-for-granted and defy her rude family. In this film the message is that a housewife can do anything, if she want. The film is an answer to today’s patriarchy and shows women’s empowerment with a dash of comedy.

The makers of this movie organised a special screening of the movie in Mumbai, before the release date. Legendary actress Rekha, Govinda, actress Pooja Hegde, Shilpa Shetty’s younger sister Shamita Shetty, Neelam Kothari and Maheep Kapoor , Govinda and his family,  Bhagyashree with son Abhimanyu Dassani, Kartik Aryan , Nushrratt Bharuccha, Shabana Azmi, Neelam Kothari Soni with husband Sameer Soni attended the screening  in Juhu, Mumbai, on September 21, Thursday. . Shilpa was wearing a beautiful mesmerizing red dress and was all posy for paparazi.

Rekha in her signature kanjivaram saree with Shilpa posing for camera was a treat for their fans. Nushrratt Bharuccha was looking stunning in a black dress. Pooja hedge was looking pretty in a white crop top and black pants.

Shilpa Shetty started her career in Bollywood from the thriller movie Baazigar (1993), and surprisingly this by this movie she got her first nomination for the Filmfare award for Best supporting actress. After that Shilpa gave us one after another super duper hits like Dhadkan, Rishtey, Life in A metro, Dostana, Hungama 2 and many more. In 2006 shilpa’s career to a new turn, she started her career in Bollywood reality shows as a judge in the reality show ” Jhalak dikhhla jaa”.
