Telangana Minister Tells Ranbir Kapoor: 'Telugu People Will Rule Bollywood!

One shot clip of Minister of Labour and Employment in Telangana Malla Reddy has created controversy among the Internet world. Addressing Ranbir Kapoor, he stated that Telugu people will rule Bollywood and Hollywood soon and that in a year. This incident occurred at an Animal pre-release event recently held in Hyderabad on November 27.

“Our Telugu people will rule Hollywood, Bollywood, and India alle”

The film ANIMAL‘s team with several special guests attended the Animal pre-release event in Hyderabad. In addition to actor Mahesh Babu and filmmaker SS Rajamouli, politician and Telangana Minister of Labour and Employment Malla Reddy was there.

The minister can be heard saying in Hindi, “Listen, Mr. Ranbir Kapoor, within 5 years,  Hollywood, Bollywood, and India will all be ruled by our Telugu people. You will also shift to Hyderabad after 1 year. Mumbai has become old, and Bengaluru is a traffic jam, only Hyderabad city in India rules. Rajamouli, Dil Raju smart people, now Sandeep has become. Hyderabad top most hai, Telugu people smart smart, our heroine Rashmika so smart.  Pushpa created a sensation, Ashwamedha yaagam conducted here, at Malla Reddy University. Your film Animal will do 500 crores.”

Telugu cinema lovers, as well as Twitter users in general, were ’embarrassed’ by Reddy’s comments. Many people applauded Ranbir for being cheerful during the ordeal. “Hats off to Ranbir for being so patient,” one wrote. “He’s a politician, for all my Hindi-speaking friends.” Said another. Others were more outraged, saying, “The Hindi audience loves South actors and their films without any discrimination.”
