Vijay Raaz Removed from ‘Son of Sardaar 2’: Claims Fired Over Ajay Devgn Meeting, Faces Harassment Charges

The shooting of Son of Sardar 2, the sequel to the 2012 superhit film Son of Sardar starring Ajay Devgn, Sanjay Dutt, and Sonakshi Sinha, is going on at this time. The film has been surrounded by controversies even before the shooting. Actor Vijay Raj was signed in this film and was to play an important character. But now the news is coming that he has been removed from the film.

Makers removed Vijay Raj from the film

Vijay has been accused of not behaving properly with the staff. Apart from this, his spot boy has been accused of sexual harassment. At present, the shooting of the film is going on in the UK. Media reports are saying that Vijay misbehaved with the makers and staff on the set and he was making unnecessary demands, which the makers were upset about.

On the other hand, Vijay Raj clarified this matter and said that he was removed from the film only because he did not greet actor Ajay Devgan on the set. According to reports, Sanjay Mishra has now been cast in place of Vijay Raj.

What is the allegation on Vijay?

Pinkvilla’s report quoted the film’s co-producer Kumar Mangat Pathak as saying – “Yes, it is true that we have removed Vijay Raj from the film due to his misbehavior on the set. He had demanded a bigger room and a vanity van like Ajay Devgan’s. He also demanded a higher charge for his spot boy. The UK is an expensive place. Still, we provided good rooms to everyone during the shooting, but Vijay was demanding premium suites from us.

When we tried to explain to him, he spoke in a very rude manner. He said that you people approached me, and I did not come to ask for work in person. We tried to fulfill all his demands, but his bad behavior continued and his demands were not ending. After, several discussions, we decided to remove him from the film. He has also refused to return the advance payment he had taken.”

On the other hand, actor Vijay Raj has clarified this. He told Pinkvilla, “I reached the set on time for the trial. When I reached the van, everyone came to meet me. When I got out of the van, I saw Ajay Devgn standing at a distance of about 25 meters. Due to being busy, I could not meet him, and could not welcome him. After 25 minutes, Kumar Mangat Pathak came to me and said we are removing you from the film. This happened only because I did not greet Ajay Devgn.”

At the same time, Vijay Raj’s spot boy is also accused of sexual harassment. Officials present on the set say that Vijay Raj’s spot boy has allegedly sexually harassed the hotel staff under the influence of alcohol. On this matter, the actor said that this is a different matter and he has nothing to do with it.
