Bollywood is very angry with the brutal and horrific incident of rape and murder of the female doctor in Kolkata. From Swara Bhaskar, Parineeti Chopra, Alia Bhatt, Vijay Verma to Ayushmann Khurrana have expressed their anger on social media. Now Bollywood actress Richa Chadha has tagged West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee on this matter and there is hope for an impartial investigation.

Angry Richa has shared a post on X (Twitter) regarding this case. She wrote,
“ The women of this country expect a fair and impartial from you ©Mamataofficial, and Swift justice. You’re the only woman currently to occupy the post of Chief Minister. We are watching you”

Alia Bhatt has also expressed her displeasure on this matter. SHe shared a long post on social media and wrote- ‘Another rape. Another day with the realization that women are not safe anywhere. Another horrific rape reminds us that it has been more than a decade since the Nirbhaya tragedy, but still not much has changed.”

High Court handed over investigation to CBI
Let us tell you that people are demanding justice for the doctor who, while on duty, became the victim of a crime which has shaken the entire country. Everyone from students to politicians and Bollywood celebs are posting on this incident. This incident took place on 09 August at RG Kar Medical College, Kolkata.In this matter, Mamata Banerjee had given time till Sunday to the police to investigate. She had said that if she could not disclose the full details of the case by Sunday, then the case would be transferred to CBI. However, while hearing the matter on Tuesday, the High Court handed over the case to CBI.
