The Election Commission of India on has announced on Thursday, 14th March , the list of entities who had purchased electoral bonds to make political donations. In the list of those donors, there is a company called Future Gaming and Hotel Services Private Limited, that has made the highest amount of donations! This company is run by a man named, Santiago Martin, who is also known as “Lottery King”.

The highest donor, the Lottery King, donated bonds worth of ₹1,368 crore. He is the owner of Future Gaming and Hotel Services Private Limited. The name of this Lottery King who runs this company is, Santiago Martin. He turned a lottery company that operations in multiple states to a company that built the Kaleshwaram dam. With the large industrial conglomerates, the top five purchasers of electoral bonds had spent more than of ₹3,446 crore between April 2019 and February 2024. This data has released by the Election Commission of India on Thursday.

The information has reveals many notable buyers of electoral bonds, that includes prominent industrialists and companies like steel tycoon Lakshmi Mittal, Airtel’s Sunil Bharti Mittal, Vedanta, ITC, and Mahindra and Mahindra. The Election Commission of India has disclosed the data on their official website, with the Supreme Court’s order. The data highlighted the list of the entities who purchased the electoral bonds to make donations to political parties. The second highest donor is Megha Engineering and Infrastructures Limited (MEIL). But it is notable that, the official website of MEIL website is not working right now, except their homepage. All the details about the project and the company’s details remained out of reach for the public because of their website.
