From Parachute Coconut oil to Red Label tea, from Surf Excel to Everest Masala, this gang of Hyderabad has done it all! They manufactures and sells duplicate household items. You might have buy them too! The Hyderabad police has arrested the gang on Saturday. They were involved in manufacturing duplicate products of popular household brands in Hyderabad.
The sleuths of Task Force with the Central Zone team along with staff of Kachiguda police station planned and laid a trap near Kumar Theatre to catch the gang. The name of the main accused person is Mahendra Singh, he is from Nagaram and native of Rajastan. The Hyderabad Police has said that he was illegally manufacturing and selling general store duplicate products.
He was selling coconut hair oil on the brand name of Parachute, duplicate detergent powder on the brand name of Surf Excel, Wheel and other duplicate floor cleaning liquids on the brand name of Lizol, Harpic and even duplicate tea powders on the brand name of Red Label, Brook bond too. He so sold duplicate Masala powder on the brand name of Everest and so on.
Accused Mahendra Singh is a resident Nagaram and he was running a Kirana & General trading store. But to gain easy money, he started doing business illegally. In this illegal business he had two partners, they are named Shaym Bhati and Kamal Bhati. Both of his partners are residents of Kachiguda. The police and the search team has conducted raids across multiple locations, including Nagaram, Keesara Mandal, and the Katedhan industrial area. All of these raids led to the seizure of counterfeit goods valued at ₹2 crore!
