Ashwin Achieves Milestone That KL Rahul and Shreyas Iyer Haven’t Reached Yet

Rohit Sharma has the most runs for India in the World Test Championship.

Rohit Sharma is the Indian batsman who scored the most runs in the history of the ICC World Test Championship i.e. WTC. He has scored 2558 runs in 33 matches so far. After this comes Virat Kohli’s number. He has scored 2241 runs in 37 matches. India has a total of 10 batsmen, who have scored more than 1000 runs. Now the new name of Ravichandran Ashwin has also been added. Ashwin has added more than 1000 runs to his account by playing 36 matches.

KL Rahul and Shreyas Iyer are yet to score 1000 runs in WTC.

If we talk about KL Rahul then he has not been able to touch this stage yet. KL Rahul has played 17 matches in the World Test Championship and has scored only 974 runs. Shreyas Iyer has scored 811 runs in 14 matches. It can be said that Ashwin has played more matches, but it should also be noted that Ashwin is not a pure batsman.
