The six-team tournament will be played in Pakistan and Sri Lanka. After India refused to travel to Pakistan due to diplomatic tensions between the two neighboring countries. India will play all Asia Cup matches in Sri Lanka including games against Pakistan.
Teams are divided into two groups A and B. India, Pakistan, and Nepal are in Group A. On the other side Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, and Afghanistan are in Group B.
The Opening match of Asia Cup 2023 between Pakistan and Nepal in Multan on August 30. Team India is set to play their first match on September 2 at Kandy against Pakistan.
