BANGLADESH SQUAD & SCHEDULE FOR T20 WORLD CUP 2024

Bangladesh team for T20 World Cup 2024 has been announced. Nazmul Hussain Shanto, who was made the captain of Bangladesh in all formats earlier this year, will lead the team in this tournament. Bangladesh Cricket Board has also kept two players in traveling reserve along with the 15-member team squad. Taskin Ahmed is currently struggling with injury. Shakib Al Hasan Create A Record

All-rounder Shakib Al Hasan is included in Bangladesh’s team for T20 World Cup 2024. Let us tell you that Shakib Al Hasan has been playing in the T20 World Cup since 2007. Shakib Al Hasan will play his 9th T20 World Cup this time. Who recently returned to T20I cricket after a gap of almost a year. Shakib was included in the squad for Bangladesh’s last two T20 matches against Zimbabwe and is now set to travel to America with the team. At the same time, no major changes have been seen in the team.

These players got placed in reserve

Afif Hossain and Hasan Mahmood will go into the tournament as reserves. In such a situation, if Taskin Ahmed is not fit till May 25, Hasan Mahmood can get a place in the team as his replacement. Let us tell you that 24-year-old fast bowler Hasan, who has played 17 T20Is, last played a T20I match for Bangladesh against Afghanistan in Sylhet in July last year. Bangladesh have been placed in Group D along with South Africa, Sri Lanka, Netherlands, and Nepal for the T20 World Cup 2024, with their first match against Sri Lanka on June 7 in Dallas.
