BCCI has announced the new head coach of Team India. Rahul Dravid’s tenure ended just after the T20 World Cup. After this, the Indian team was looking for a great coach. 2011 World Champion Gautam Gambhir was seen at the forefront of this race. Now BCCI has officially announced Gambhir’s name for the head coach. BCCI Secretary Jay Shah posted on social media and informed about the head coach.

Jay Shah shared a photo with Gambhir on the social media platform X and welcomed him. He wrote, “I am very happy to welcome Gautam Gambhir as the new head coach of the Indian cricket team. Cricket has evolved very fast in modern times and Gautam has seen it changing closely after performing brilliantly in a variety of roles throughout his career. I am confident that Gautam is the ideal person to take Indian cricket forward. His clear vision for Team India and his vast experience make him perfectly positioned to take on this exciting and demanding coaching role. The BCCI supports him as he embarks on this new journey.”
