Delhi Capitals had one of the worst seasons in IPL 2023, where they finished ninth after winning only five out of 14 league matches. DC are definitely missing their regular captain Rishabh Pant as they lost their first five matches in a row and were eliminated from the playoff race before any other team. IPL 2024 auction budget

The purse for each team for the IPL 2024 auction was increased by Rs 5 to Rs 100 crore from last year’s Rs 95 crore. The valuation of players from each franchise on the day of the auction will determine how much money will be released. Each team will receive a budget of Rs 100 crore (approximately US$12.02 million) from the IPL 2024 auction to prepare their roster for the upcoming season.
