The ODI World Cup 2023 has started on Thursday. The first match is between defending champions England and New Zealand at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad. New Zealand won the toss and decided to bowl first. Batting first, England started well but after losing several wickets in a row, England failed to score big runs. After losing the toss, Two England openers, David Malan and Jonny Bairstow, started batting in the mood. However, England lost consecutive wickets after breaking the opening pair.
