After Mohammad Rizwan became the new captain of the Pakistan white ball team, now the team has suffered a major setback. Gary Kirsten has resigned as the head coach of Pakistan’s ODI and T20 International teams. Kirsten was appointed by the PCB on a two-year contract in April 2024, but he could barely last six months in this position.
According to ESPN, a public statement will be issued in this regard soon. A rift has been brewing between Pakistan’s newly appointed coach Kirsten and Jason Gillespie and the PCB ever since the board decided to take away the selection rights from him.
