After joining KKR, Gambhir said- “I am not an emotional person, and many things do not affect me. But this is different. It’s back to where it all started. I am back. I am hungry. I am at number 23. Ami KKR.”
Welcoming Gambhir to KKR, Shah Rukh Khan said – “Gautam has always been a part of the family and this is our captain coming back home in a different avatar as a “mentor”. They are sorely missed and now we all are looking forward. Thanks to Chandu sir and Gautam for instilling the never-say-die spirit and sportsmanship to create magic with Team KKR.”
