With the ICC ODI World Cup 2023 around the corner, the crease giants are picking their respective Indian teams. Amidst all this, former Indian veteran batsman Gautam Gambhir has also selected a team of 15 players for the ODI World Cup. But the interesting thing is that Gambhir has selected KL Rahul in the team by not giving a chance to Shreyas Iyer.
During an interaction on Star Sports, Gambhir picked Rohit Sharma, Shubman Gill, Virat Kohli, Suryakumar Yadav, and KL Rahul as specialist batting options. Ishan Kishan was the wicketkeeping option and did not give Sanju Samson a chance in the team. Even Tilak Verma has not got any place in his team.

Talking of all-rounders, Gambhir picked Ravindra Jadeja, Akshar Patel, Hardik Pandya and Washington Sundar. In the form of fast bowlers, Gambhir has included Jasprit Bumrah, Mohammed Siraj, and Mohammed Shami. Prashidha Krishna is also found a place in the team, who was out due to injury and made a comeback against Ireland. Shardul Thakur has not got a place in the team.
