The stage is set for the Indian Premier League 2024 (IPL 2024). A total of 11 matches have been concluded, Gujarat Titans (GT) and Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) will meet in the 12th match. Shuman Gill’s team is ready to play the second match at home. Sunrisers Hyderabad won the toss and batted first in today’s match. After a good start, opener Agarwal had to return to the pavilion, managing to score 16 runs. Travis Head (19), and Abhishek Sharma (29), who were in poor form in the last match, made runs and returned to the pavilion.
Gujarat won the second match
Besides, Markram (17), Klassen (24), Shahbaz (22), and Samader (29) managed to score 162 runs in 20 overs for Hyderabad. The Sunrisers Hyderabad team, who showed an amazing batting style against Mumbai in the last match, was completely defeated by Gujarat today. On the other hand, the bowling department of the Gujarat Titans team made a comeback as always. Mohit Sharma collected 3 wickets for Gujarat and Azmatullah, Umesh, Rashid, and Noor managed to take one wicket each.
Gujrat’s leading openers took on a brutal role from the start chasing runs. Wriddhiman Saha scored 25 runs off 13 balls quickly, and Shubman Gill played an innings of 36 runs off 28 balls and showed the team a good start. On the other hand, Inform Sai Sudarshan (45), David Miller (44) and Vijay Shankar scored 14 runs to ensure Gujarat Titans won by 7 wickets with 5 balls to spare. Shahbaz Ahmed, Mayank Markande, and captain Pat Cummins managed to take one wicket each for Hyderabad. After today’s win, Gujarat (GT) moved up to fourth place in the points table.
