‘Happens Once in 12 Years, Friend’: Captain Rohit Sharma Backs His Team

New Zealand defeated India by 113 runs in the second Test and took an unassailable 2-0 lead in the three-match Test series. This is the first time in the last 12 years that India has lost a series on its soil. Rohit Sharma, responding to the criticism of losing the second consecutive match and losing the series, said that when we are performing well consistently, this happens in one or two series.

Indian captain Rohit Sharma said in the press conference after the match, “We have lost only two matches. We have won many matches in India, where batsmen have played well on bad pitches, why are we not focusing on that? This is the first time we have collapsed. It happens once in 12 years.
