India all-rounder Hardik Pandya recently made his return to competitive cricket with the DY Patil T20 Cup 2024 for Reliance. Hardik had been away from the field after getting injured during the World Cup 2023 match against Bangladesh. Pandya has recovered from his ankle injury and is back on track. Pandya will also be leading Mumbai Indians (MI) in the upcoming IPL season. He did not only return from Gujarat Titans (GT), whom he led in the past two seasons but replaced Rohit Sharma in the Captaincy.
Recently a YouTube video of Pandya went viral where he talked about himself unfiltered. It was an interview session with a YouTuber named ‘uk07 rider’. When asked about a fact about Pandya that his fans don’t know he said, “I don’t go out. I am a homeboy, I love to stay at home. I haven’t gone outside my house unless it’s a total emergency if my friends need me, or if the situation is unavoidable. I just love staying inside. Everything I need is in my home. I don’t have to go outside for it. I meet everyone in my home, be it, my friends or my manager. So, I don’t need to step out of my house.”
He also said to his fans about his achievement “The journey has been wonderful. I have learned so many things. This is why I believe if I can do it everybody can do it. I’ve been learning constantly because of this journey…be honest, if you wanna work hard you need to work with honesty and if you could do that you’ll be unstoppable.”
During the conversation, uk07 rider asked about his photos going viral and people’s reactions to them, and the all-rounder just gave his calm response, “I don’t comment on social media, I don’t want to, k don’t care.”
He also shared a message for his Mumbai Indians Stans,
“Just keep supporting. Send us blessings and love. Will try my best to entertain you all, and will give my all in the game. It’ll be exciting as everyone knows”
