Hardik Pandya has reacted for the first time after being traded from Gujarat Titans to Mumbai Indians. In his tweet, Pandya said that he feels good to be back with his old team and it brings back wonderful memories. It was under the captaincy of Hardik that Gujarat won the title in the 2022 IPL, whereas in 2023, Gujarat reached the final but could not win.
Hardik wrote in the tweet, “This brings back a lot of wonderful memories. Mumbai It feels good to be back at Wankhede, Paltan.” Hardik was the successful captain of Gujarat in the IPL for two seasons. He led his team to its first IPL title in the 2022 edition while also finishing as the runner-up in IPL 2023.
Hardik has played 92 matches for Mumbai scored 1,476 runs and taken 42 wickets. Mumbai Indians owner Nita Ambani welcomed Hardik to her team and said that she is excited about the Indian all-rounder’s future in the team.
Nita Ambani took to Mumbai Indians’ Twitter handle and said, “We are thrilled to welcome Hardik back home! It’s a heartwarming reunion with our Mumbai Indians family! From being a young scout for Mumbai Indians to now being a star for Team India, Hardik has come a long way and we are excited about the future for him and Mumbai Indians!”
